Our role

Wolf & Pigeons decides why and how the personal data from applications and emails is used. Our mailing address is Wolf & Pigeons, 17434 Bellflower Blvd, Ste 200-278, Bellflower, CA 90706. The providers below handle data on our behalf and only to provide their service to us.

What data is involved

• Identity and contact details from the apply form, which are your name, email and company.
• Business details from the apply form, which are your launch, your setup and where it breaks.
• Technical details sent with an application, which are the referring site, campaign tags, landing page, browser type and a salted hash of your IP address.
• Analytics data, only if you accept the cookie notice.
• Emails you send us.

Providers that handle data for us

• Vercel hosts the site and serves its pages. It sees the requests made to the site.
• Neon runs the database where applications are stored.
• Resend sends the confirmation email to you and the notice to us. Those emails carry no tracking pixel and no tracked links.
• Cloudflare runs the bot check on the apply form.
• Bluehost hosts our email, including the inbox that receives applications, and manages the site's DNS records.
• Google Analytics measures how the site is used. It only loads if you press Accept.

Where data goes

These providers run systems in several countries, including the United States. When personal data from the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom is moved, we rely on the transfer safeguards the providers make available. Ask us if you need the details for a provider.

How we protect it

• The site runs over HTTPS.
• IP addresses are stored in our database only as a salted hash and the raw address is never kept there. Our hosting provider keeps its own server logs.
• The form has a bot check, a hidden trap field and a limit on how many applications one visitor can send in an hour.
• An application is saved before any email is sent, so a failed email never loses it.
• At our end, only the founder can see applications.

Keeping and deleting data

We keep an application we do not take on for 12 months and then delete it. If we work together, we keep the records of that work for as long as we work together and for 3 years after. Emails follow the same schedule. We delete data sooner when you ask, unless the law says we must keep it.

Requests and agreements

To see, correct or delete your data, email apply@wolfandpigeons.com and we will act within 30 days. Clients can also ask for a signed data processing agreement at that address. If we change the providers on this page we will update it.
